According to a report over at Kotaku the promising next-gen (?) game Star Wars 1313 from Lucasarts is currently on hold following the purchase of George Lucas' film, video game, and special effects empire back in November.
The Kotaku piece tells of a strange evolution of the game we know as Star Wars 1313 where it was originally conceived as an open world RPG that was meant to tie in with a proposed live-action TV series. It then evolved to be more of a Star Wars take on the Uncharted series. Oh well.
Lucasarts told Kotaku the game is still in production, so officially nothing is happening, but there is that saying of where there's smoke... Let's hope Star Wars 1313 is progressing as it sure looked delicious at last year's E3.
