Days Gone has been a fixture at Sony's E3 press conference for a couple of years now and, while it's not one of the focus titles at this year's briefing the game (which was originally expected to land this year), has been pushed back to 2019 (perhaps in a bid to avoid this year's extremely busy Q4). Still, at the moment we don't know the official launch date yet.

In a recent interview with Screen Rant at a PlayStation event, Days Gone's game director Chris Reese said that the studio will announce the release of the game "very soon".

"We'll have more info on that very soon," teased Reese, with his comments suggesting that it's likely that this information will be revealed during E3, which is taking place in LA next month.

We just have to wait for June and Sony's E3 conference, which will be held on Tuesday, June 12, at 2:00 am (BST). Then again, the Days Gone release date could also be revealed during the pre-show.

Thanks, DualShockers.
