Some developers have received a bit of a shock in recent days, as DualShockers reports that warnings were sent by Valve to a number of developers with games on Steam warning them about adult content in their titles, with demands to censor the offending items, or face removal from the platform. Said developers have since revealed, however, that another communication was sent telling them to disregard the previous message.
How very confusing, and as revealed by those such as Lupiesoft, some games are being re-reviewed to look closely at their content, with feedback coming soon and the deadline for censorship removed. It's important to note that these are still being examined, and that the situation isn't necessarily gone for good, then.
It seems the initial reports of the warnings struck a nerve in the community though, as a petition was launched to keep these games on Steam, with Ian Horton, the creator of the petition, calling the move "an unacceptable attack on free expression and free enterprise."
What do you make of this situation, and the games themselves?
