Anybody who is particularly interested in getting hands on with Arma III will be interested to know that Bohemia Interactive has just announced details about how to get your hands on the game's Alpha.

The game isn't due out until later this year (Q3), so to get early access interested parties will need to purchase Arma III Alpha (£19.99) or Arma III Digital Deluxe Edition (£34.99 GBP) on Steam (there's also the Supporter Edition - for £59.99 you get a variety of bonus content including all future DLC). Picking up either of these packs will also grant access to the game's beta phase, as well as copy of the game when it's finally released. Arma III Alpha will appear on Steam on March 5.

There's also to be a free version - Arma III Alpha Lite - which will be out on March 14, (it doesn't include multiplayer, nor access to the beta, and ends in June).

Bohemia's Jay Crowe said: "The Arma III Alpha is a big milestone in the project's development. Testing early and often puts us on the right track towards improving performance, stability and delivering on our goal of creating a robust final release. It's also a big opportunity to get the game in the hands of our passionate community."
