If you're looking forward to Mario Tennis Aces, you won't have to wait too much longer. Nintendo has just announced that they will release a demo of the game on June 1, and also run an online tournament starting the very same day. And this being Nintendo, there will be prizes for everyone.
The tournament starts at 3pm BST / 4pm CEST the very same day as the demo is released and it will end at 01:00 on June 5. You will be able to play as Bowser, Peach, Yoshi, and of course Mario, and there will be five additional characters to unlock by playing through the tournament demo.
The prize which will be given to everyone who plays at least one match will be 'Overalls Mario', the classic Mario outfit that's drawn from his platforming games, rather than the properly dressed tennis Mario we're otherwise treated to in this game. This skin can be used freely in the full game when released once you've unlocked it.
