Sony might have retired PS Vita a long time ago when it comes to creating first-party software, but there are still third party games coming to the handheld platform and one of the more interesting titles on the horizon is Stardew Valley.
The blend of gentle RPG mechanics and farming simulation seems like a great fit for the console, and fortunately for us, we don't have to wait more than a week before we can start up our own digital farm, catch some fish, slay a few monsters in the mines, and get hitched.
This was revealed on Concerned Ape's homepage, where the creator writes:
"Perhaps the most common questions I get asked is, "When is Stardew Valley coming to PS Vita?"
Well, the time has finally come for me to answer... Stardew Valley will be coming to PS Vita on May 22nd! It will be cross-buy, so you'll only need to purchase one copy to play on both your PlayStation 4 and your PS Vita. This also means those of you who already own the game on PlayStation 4 will now be able to download the PS Vita version too!"
Are you still playing PS Vita or have you moved on to another platform?
