We recently reported today that something "interesting" was coming in regards to Pro Evolution Soccer when FC Barcelona play Real Madrid this afternoon, and now the cat's out of the bag, as Konami, in collaboration with Barça, has prepared the first official appearance of PES 2019 in the match today, this being confirmed via an image of the usual billboards which have already been updated with the logo of the new game, corresponding to the 2018/19 season.
The move is doubly surprising because of the very early date (a new PES has been seen at the end of May in recent years), and it's assumed we'll get an official statement soon.
