It's not "farfetch'd" to assume there has been huge interest in Pokémon Duel, a digital board game for smartphones. In fact, it is so popular that it now has passed 34 million downloads across Android and iOS devices. This was revealed by Serebii on Twitter and that must be considered impressive as it is competing with the already established Pokémon Go on mobile not to mention the fact that it still hasn't been translated to major languages like French and Italian.
Pokémon Duel was released back in 2016 in Japan but was shortly after released worldwide as well. It's an entertaining game that is a bit burdened by its heavy emphasis on microtransactions.
