During a recent financial meeting for the fiscal year 2017, Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo's President who's leaving his position to Shuntaro Furukawa this June, revealed important information on Nintendo Switch Online, a premium subscription online service which will be available on Switch in September.
"Nintendo Switch Online, a paid subscription service that will expand the online functionality of Nintendo Switch, will begin in September of this year. The service will provide consumers with a richness of online features that allow them to continuously enjoy Nintendo Switch. More information will be presented on our website in early May," said Kimishima.
At this point, we'll have to wait until next month to get more details on this online service, the launch of which was initially scheduled for the end of 2017. Is this a major focus for you next month?
