Fans of the Evil Dead films as well as the Ash vs. Evil Dead series must now come to terms with the fact that Bruce Campbell will no longer be Ash. This departure seems to be the reason for stopping the series created by Sam Raimi, although fans of the series as well as the films have called for the return of Bruce Campbell via a revival via Netflix.
The American actor then responded on Twitter to this outpour from the fans, however, simply saying: "Big props to fans for the effort, but I'm retired as Ash." It seems then that Campbell is onto other things, and his days as Ash are truly over
This departure challenges the future of the Evil Dead franchise, but who knows what could happen in this era of reboots. Will you miss Campbell?
