Last night Sony revealed their new console, Playstation 4, to an eager world, but today a bitter aftertaste is forming after the discovery that your current PSN games won't be accessible on the new console. At least, not at first.
According to a report on Engadget, Shuhei Yoshida confirmed that due to technical reasons, you won't be able to play your current crop of PSN games on the new PS4 when it launches later this year. This follows on Gaikai's Dave Perry confirming that backwards compatibility for PS3, PS2 and PSone games would not come at launch, but thanks to Sony's investment in cloud gaming, it should be something available further down the line.
