In a financial call, Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot has confirmed that the company is getting ready to announce a new Assassin's Creed. More information about it is to be expected in May, and according to some sources the game should be released at some point during the financial year of 2012. The last game in the series, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, has shipped 6,5 million copies so far, and Ubisoft expects the game to sell around 7,5 million - Assassin's Creed II has so far sold in 8,5 million copies.
The PSP game Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines is said to have sold in 500,000 copies, if you feel like comparing.
We gave Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood a strong 9/10 when it was released last year, and we eagerly await more news on the sequel.
