Overcooked-inspired party game Catastronauts unveiled

Put away the kitchen utensils and set phasers to stun.

Serving burgers and cooking soup in Overcooked is still one of our favourite things to do when it comes to local multiplayer. That's why we're intrigued by Inertia Game Studios' newly announced title, Catastronauts. Here the kitchen is being replaced by a spaceship, and the chef uniform swapped out for Star Trek-like uniform. We're also not supposed to cook anymore, but rather prepare for an assault from alien attackers.

But launching powerful weapons of mass destructions isn't as easy as it sounds. The cannons need power, they need to be launched at the right moment, repairs must be made on occasion, fires have to be put out with an extinguisher and so on and so forth. No doubt chaos will be the result. Catastronauts will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One later this year. Sounds pretty fun, doesn't it?
