Edmund McMillen, one of the brains behind indie platform classic Super Meat Boy and roguelike RPG The Binding of Isaac, is to have his collection of early games released at retail. The Basement Collection is currently available on Steam, but the collection of work will now make its way to retailers on March 8.

On the new collection McMillen said: "I'm honored to have the basement collection as my 4th retail release with Head up and Merge Games. its a labor of love that will be packed with physical extras that should make this edition something to hold on to, its awesome to have so many of my games in one place."

There's plenty of content in the collection beyond just games, with soundtracks, interviews and more included. There are several titles set to feature: Aether, Time Fcuk, Spewer, Meat Boy (an early prototype version of Super Meat Boy), Grey Matter, Coil and Triachnid. There's also two secret unlockable games in there too, as well as a copy of Indie Game: The Movie.
