It's no secret that the Nintendo Switch has been a bit of a success even since launch last year, and now GamingBolt reports that Nintendo's sales for third-party games on the eShop recently overtook sales for the same games via retail channels for the first time in the USA.

Nintendo announced this at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), and just goes to show how appealing to eShop has become, not just because there are a ton of great games on there, but also because a lot of them are digital-only right now anyway. With discounts too, it's not surprising that fans are purchasing content digitally at the moment.

Do you buy most of your Switch games digitally?
