Just Shapes & Beats is bullet hell meets music

And a ton of colourful shapes.

In Nintendo's Nindies livestream today we learned about a game called Just Shapes & Beats, described by Nintendo as a fusion of bullet hell and music, something that Berzerk Studio's game really does seem to live up to, given the footage we saw from it.

The game will feature music from over 20 chiptune artists and sees you explore a number of crazy and colourful areas filled with tons of shapes, either as part of its local and online multiplayer or the story mode that was revealed for it.

Just Shapes & Beats is set to start the music pumping in summer. Do you think the two concepts can go together well?
