Update: We've heard it from our own sources that the game is indeed called Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII.
Original: We've seen lots of rumours circulating the next Call of Duty and which subseries it will belong to, and now another source has emerged confirming that it will be a new Black Ops game. Plus, this time we also have some supporting evidence.
As revealed via the NBA on ESPN Twitter account, there's a photo where you can see James Harden wearing a hat with the logo which seems to be the logo for Black Ops III - except there's one more "I" on it. Despite the fact that this isn't much of a confirmation, people are still getting excited.
Later on, a source close to Kotaku confirmed that this is indeed the logo for the latest Call of Duty title. If that's the case, we're not sure why developer Treyarch has decided not to use numbers or Roman numerals for the logo.
Might the game actually end up being called Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII?
