Maybe you've been interested in getting a Nintendo Switch, but consider the screen to be a touch too small to make the purchase? Well, some inventive fans thought that this might be the case, and so they went ahead and made a totally unofficial Switch XL. Yes, you read that right, Nintendo's portable home console just got super-sized. Kinda.
Youtube user MyMateVince has recently published a video, showcasing the homemade Nintendo Switch XL, which he built using a 15.5-inch 1080p monitor, with the device powered by a 12-volt battery via USB. The final design might not be particularly portable, but at this point, MyMateVince highlights that this is but a simple prototype, and that should people show interest, he could create a version that's both "thinner and more portable". Even better, maybe Nintendo will do it.
You can watch his video right here. What do you think of the concept, and do you think Nintendo should follow suit?
