Late last month we reported on major layoffs at developer Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency (founded in 2013), which was founded by industry legend David Jaffe responsible for games like Twisted Metal and God of War. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to save the company and Jaffe tweets:

"Any So Cal gamers interested in owning some gaming history? Sadly we are shutting down our Bartlet Jones offices and there's some great props that we're trying to unload to folks who are into such things. Ex: Sweet Tooth's machete we used in TM2012 movies; Sweet Chick's mask, etc."

Bartlet Jones' only title released was Drawn to Death, the notebook-themed shooter for PS4, which failed to make much of an impact when released (even with the aid of being free with PS Plus).

What Jaffe will do next is unknown, but we wish him and any former Bartlet Jones employees all the best.
