EA are preparing to unveil details surrounding the next Battlefield "in about 90 days," the company revealed in a recent call to investors.
"We've already talked a little bit about that we have a Battlefield title coming next year, but we're not in a position right now to talk about our development plans and our SKU plan long term," said EA's Frank Gibeau (as transcribed by Seeking Alpha and spotted by VideoGamer).
Gibeau then added: "That will come in about 90 days when we get to show you some Battlefield stuff." As the conference call was made in late January, it means we can expect a reveal sometime in April.
Given the proximity of this planned reveal to the likely forthcoming next-gen announcements from Sony and Microsoft, we can assume the EA are holding until the next round of console hardware has been revealed by the major platform holders before they show their hand.
