The open beta for Blizzard's sci-fi RTS, Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, is to end on March 1, according to a post on Battle.net.
In the blog post gamers were thanked for their participation, and for the invaluable feedback they've provided the studio:
We're pleased to announce that, in preparation for the launch of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, the public beta test will close on March 1. We're incredibly thankful for the feedback and data our testers have produced throughout the beta, and we hope that all testers continue to practice, prepare, and pursue XP levels in the beta through the end of February.
It is important to note that we will continue to operate a private beta test until Heart of the Swarm goes live on March 12. We will be working with our eSports partners to ensure that they are able to feature the new expansion in professional StarCraft II matches after March 1.
