Legendary Kraken spotted in Sea of Thieves

First images of the sea monster surface.

One of the big draws in Sea of Thieves are the legends and stories passed on from pirate to pirate. One such tale is that of a legendary giant sea monster which dwells in the deep: the Kraken. Developer Rare already teased the fearsome creature, but now the first in-game images have emerged on 4chan.

In the pictures the Kraken can be seen with its big ol' tentacles, with huge beaks at the end of them, attacking players and ships alike. If you're eager to hunt down the creature yourself, Rare announced a new beta test set to run this weekend.
