This week not one but two PUBG games launched in China in the form of PUBG: Exhilarating Battlefield and PUBG: Army Attack. Army Attack is a little different from the more traditional approach seen in Exhilarating Battlefield, as it has more of an arcade focus that includes air, sea, and land battles.
The games were made by two different teams, with Army Attack developed by Timi Studio, while Exhilarating Battlefield was made by Lightspeed and Quantum Studio. If you head over to YouTube you can see Battlefield in action here and Army Attack here, with both games being played on an iPhone X.
As you can probably imagine both games are proving very popular in China, with many millions of downloads already being widely reported. The question remains as to whether the titles will make it over to the West, but with publisher Tencent recently launching its successful MOBA, Arena of Valor, over here, there's every chance that this pair of PUBG spin-offs could well follow suit.
