As is tradition these days, game publishers are putting out reports detailing their financials during the past quarter. Konami has now followed suit and has released their quarterly report, and surprising to some, it shows a big revenue increase for the company.

The report details a revenue increase in sales and profit for the past nine-month period ending on December 31st. Year-on-year revenue increased by 9%, which is a total of 178.7 billion yen. The company even managed a 30.2% increase in operating profit.

The success is, according to the report, mainly to do with mobile games such as Jikkyou Pawafuru Puroyakyu and Professional Baseball Spirits A. The company also released PES Card Collection, which has garnered more than 80 million downloads since releasing this month.

On the console side, Konami has stated that both Super Bomberman R and Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 has enjoyed a "stable" performance. The company is looking to further increase profits through the release of Metal Gear Survive later this month.
