PUBG Corp changes Miramar "to improve the engagement"

More cover, more buildings, more loot, and hopefully more fun.

Level design isn't an easy job, nor is finding the same quality across the different environments found in expansive games. Players of PUBG, for example, have been having fun for almost a year with just one map, Erangel, while begging for another to mix things up.

However, when that map - Miramar - arrived, it didn't offer the experience that many were craving and it didn't hold the same appeal for a lot of players. Some of those disgruntled players even took matters into their own hands and put in place a cheeky little hack to take it out of the map rotation.

PUBG Corp. is trying to handle the situation with a revamped version of the map, one that adds more buildings and cover, more off-road routes for vehicles, and more and better loot. The team wants "to improve the engagement experience" in Miramar, and these are some of the measures introduced by the patch described in the last community update.

The update also delivers a new version of the replay system, fixes a few bugs, and introduces the promised new anti-cheat solution. If you experiencing crashes because of the new system, PUBG Corp. wants you to take screenshots when and where it happens and report to them to keep improving stability.
