Earlier this year, we reported that GenDesign - the new studio of Fumito Ueda, game director of Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian - had posted a teaser image on their website that would appear to tease their next project. For the moment, we really don't know anything about it and the alleged new game is still shrouded in mystery.
This, however, hasn't stopped GenDesign from letting out new clues, making for great hype among the gamers, starting from a new year's greeting card that the studio sent to their collaborators. In the image, we see a girl wearing a white dress in front of a stone altar, and behind her, we see a strong white light, and a few doves. In addition, at the bottom of the image, we notice a creature, even if it's not very clear what it is.
If you notice, the image seems to be exactly the same as it circulated at the beginning of this month but seen from another perspective. It remains to be seen when GenDesign will announce something but given these teasers we may be in for a reveal in the not too distant future. In the meantime, we can try to calm our curiosity with Shadow of the Colossus: Remake, expected for February 7 exclusively on PS4, and a remake developed by Bluepoint Games with some limited guidance from Fumito Ueda.
Thanks, GameTransfers.
