Project Vein's Code Vein is shaping up to be quite a challenging action RPG - one that we've liked so far, as you can tell from our preview - in a similar vein to Dark Souls (pardon the pun), and now Bandai Namco has revealed some details on how players can form alliances with characters in the game.
This will all take place via what's called a Home Base, a central hub in a remodeled old chapel that is a sort of stronghold, allowing players to access merchants and NPCs. Whether it's Davis, who investigates the Depth area, or Murasame who sells weapons and improves equipment, there'll be plenty to see here, and NPCs also provide quests which, if completed, raise Affinity and allows players to get even better items from them.
Do you like the sounds of the Home Base?
