While most of the successful campaigns on Kickstarter have played up the nostalgia factor, there have been plenty of examples of fresh ideas finding an audience on the crowd funding site as well. Perhaps, Guildford based Ambient Studios is the next independent and unproven commodity to find funding for a fresh idea as they recently launched their campaign.

Anyway, the campaign seeks £300,000 and with 29 days remaining it is off to a decent start at 648 backers promising £18,924. Still ways to go, but perhaps word will spread about this interesting concept.
