Gamereactor Recieves the DGA Lifetime Achievement Award
Danish-based international gaming magazine Gamereactor received the MUF award for Lifetime Achievement at the Danish Game Awards 2013.
The MUF award is given to a person or organisation which has gone the extra mile in the Danish gaming industry.
The award is given by the Multimedia Organisation, a collective of game developers and game distributors in Denmark, who are also responsible for the Danish Game Awards.
Morten Reichel, founder and owner of Gamez Publishing, who produce Gamereactor, was on stage to receive the award.
Lee West, Editor-in-Chief in Denmark, commented;
"It is of course a great honor for us to recieve the MUF award. Over the last year, Gamereactor has expanded vastly both in terms of geography and across mobile platforms, Smart TV and iPad magazines. Evolution has been a big part of Gamereactor for almost 15 years, and it is nice to be recognised for the work we do.
Getting an award that the previous year was given to Magic Mirror (the long-running Danish TV show) is a great personal joy; I spent many hours watching that show as a kid, and I know the hours with Stegelman (the host of Magic Mirror) were not wasted. We are looking forward to the continued provision of high quality gaming news to gamers all over the world."
Gamereactor is currently undergoing a major update with a new and exciting design coming to both the site and magazine, which will be revealed on the 18th of February, 2013.
On Gamereactor: Gamereactor is Europe's largest printed gaming magazine and is published in DK, SE, NO, FI, and DE, with further expansions planned, and websites in eight countries. We have iPad magazines in nine countries and Smart TV apps across Europe featuring content from Gamereactor's own extensive HD TV network, GRTV.
