During the last few weeks of the month, sales charts heavily indicated that Call of Duty: WWII was dominating the European markets, but now it seems that calling it the sales champion of Europe in 2017 was a touch premature. This is because a new report actually confirms that it's instead FIFA 18 that is the top-selling game in Europe in 2017.

The news comes courtesy of GfK, which reveals that the data is compiled by using sales statistics from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom.

In second place is Call of Duty: WWII, and the third place was taken by Grand Theft Auto V (not bad for a game that originally launched back in 2013).
