According to NintendoLife the Twitch streamer Jonas Neubauer (AKA NubbinsGoody) set out to break the world record of clearing 100 lines in the shortest amount of time. He messed up the first attempt, and thought nothing of it and got ready to try again. Then he read the comments... and discovered to his surprise that in the attempt to break the 100 lines record, he had accidentally set another world record, managing to score over 300,000 points in less than two minutes. 1 minute and 57 seconds to be exact, an attempt which you can see here.

It's worth a watch just to see his reaction when he figures it out. He went on to break the 100 lines record shortly after, which is unsurprising considering he's a seven-time Classic Tetris World Champion, with his most recent victory being in October 2017.

Do you think you could do better than Jonas?
