Nintendo wants to sell 37 million units of the Nintendo Switch console by the end of the next fiscal year, that ends April 2019. Tatsumi Kimishima, president of Nintendo, stated this in an interview with Kyoto Shimbun newspaper, as translated by wccftech.
Kimishima says the company wants to sell 20 million Switch consoles in the fiscal year of 2018, which will make the total installed base worldwide 37 million units. He also reaffirmed that the Switch exceed Nintendo expectations and that it hopes to drives the sales with more games that "enable new ways of playing".
Lofty expectations, but given the start Switch has enjoyed it's certainly not too far-fetched, What do you think?
