It's been rumoured for months, and now it seems the final confirmation has arrived. According to a leak made accidentally by Microsoft's branch in Poland, we now know that mouse and keyboard support is underway for the Xbox One.
Earlier this year Xbox chief Phil Spencer confirmed via Twitter that he and his team were exploring the possibilities of adding in the extra functionality, and afterwards Mike Ybarra expressed interest in adding it at a later date. Now Windows Latest reports that Microsoft in Poland have published a news story on their press center by accident, which reads as follows:
"Some players prefer to conquer the virtual world with a pad in hand. Others, above all, value the precision of the mouse movements. Others, however, can not imagine playing on anything other than a keyboard. Now, owners of Xbox One consoles (including Xbox One S models and the latest Xbox One X) can choose these accessories and decide for themselves what they will use. "PC Master Race"? Thanks to the keyboard support, we can already successfully talk about "Xbox Master Race."
No release date have been given, but it seems as if the final confirmation has arrived. Is this good news to you?
