As shared on ResetEra, Sega and Retro-bit have announced a new partnership today, one that'll see the latter produce accessories for Sega platforms, more precisely regarding Mega Drive, Saturn, and Dreamcast.

In case you don't know Retro-bit, it's an important company that's well-known for making hardware that reproduces consoles of the past. The reference to vintage consoles such as Mega Drive, Saturn, and Dreamcast makes us hope that in the near future the company may make some mini-consoles along the likes of Nintendo's SNES and NES Mini Classic, which were very popular. At the moment nothing has been confirmed yet, but this important partnership has just been announced, and we're promised more details at the CES event in Las Vegas.

"With retro gaming on an upswing, we are pleased to offer officially Sega licensed accessories in their original format as well as apply the innovative classic gaming enhancements that have become the hallmark of Retro-Bit," said Titi Ngoy, President and CEO at Innex Inc. the exclusive distributor of Retro-Bit. "We're excited to unveil the first of these new products and concepts at CES, and do so alongside an exciting 2018 product catalog."
