Dragon Ball fans have a lot to be grateful for right now, whether it's Xenoverse 2 or the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ, and now there's even more good news, as a new animated Dragon Ball film has been announced by Toei Animation, which will focus on the origin story for the Saiyan race (including Goku and Vegeta).
According to Comicbook.com the film is being developed with Akira Toriyama's helping hand, as the Dragon Ball creator will be working on the animation and the script himself.
Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' was the latest film, released in 2015, and will be followed up by this new one in December 2018. More details, including a name, will be revealed in the next few months, but for now you'll have to make do with getting hyped about FighterZ, which has just confirmed another three characters.
