As the end of the traditionally quiet month of January draws nearer, there's no surprises to be found in this week's multi-format sales chart.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 leapfrogs FIFA 13 to reclaim top spot, whilst DMC Devil May Cry is the game that makes way for the return of the usual suspects, after a 64% drop in sales sees it drop to fourth.

Halo 4 re-enters the chart at 14, and Assassin's Creed III saw a 71% bump in sales thanks to a price reduction, which pushed the game up five places.

Black Ops 2 is back on top for the first time since 2012.
DMC drops down to fourth, Halo 4 returns to the top twenty after a short holiday.
