Another announcement from Nintendo Direct, and it's an exciting one. Nintendo are set to release a double helping of Zelda games for Wii U.
Satoru Iwata and Eiji Aonuma revealed that the team are re-thinking the conventions of Zelda, and are planning a new game to designed to challenge player expectations.
We didn't get a look at the new game, nor did we get a title, so we can assume it's a long way off completion. The keep us busy in the meantime, Nintendo are preparing to release a HD update of the tenth game in the series, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
During the presentation it was explained that their aim with The Wind Waker is to: tune up the overall game experience and upgrade graphics. We'll also be able to play off-TV, and it'll be Miiverse compatible. Fantastic news for Zelda fans.
