It's Monday, the worst day of the week, but let us put a smile on your face by telling you about Charles Powell, a 28-year-old from Cincinatti who recently got married to the love of his life, his wife Myra.

Buzzfeed reports that he was playing Phantasy Star Online 14 years ago on Xbox Live and made three especially good friends, who had been like family since then, but still hadn't met in real life.

In the end, they turned out to be such good friends, that when Powell got married, Joe 'Grimmjo' Morris was asked to be his groomsman (or usher as you may know it) at the wedding. Powell commented: "Every part of my life they were there. We already knew each other. It was like we were already family."

He also tweeted: "15 years of playing on Xbox live. The first time we have ever met, and he's a groomsman in my wedding. Online friends are real life friends."

It turned viral really fast from people who had their own similar experiences to share, and it's closing in on 50,000 retweets and 170,000 likes at the moment. At Gamereactor, we love sunshine stories like these and want to congratulate the happy couple. We love how video games keep connecting people, making the world a better place. Even though it's Monday.
