Do you remember Windjammers (known in Japan as Flying Power Disc)? It was a cult arcade sports game published by Data East on Neo Geo arcade systems in 1994, and later on the Wii Virtual Console back in 2010 and then on PS Vita and PS4. If you're aware of the title then we may have some good news for you, if it's true what a ResetEra user reported recently.
According to a CNC report (via GameKult), DotEmu (the studio which took care of the PS4 and PS Vita ports) has received funds to develop Windjammers 2. The same user reports that the game was immediately removed from the revealing list, but a screenshot was grabbed just in time.
At the moment there's nothing confirmed, but this may be the first sighting of a sequel that's already in pre-production at DotEmu. Would you like to get your hands on Windjammers 2?
