It's that time of year when ALL the stores throw open their doors and offer up plenty of deals to entice you in. The digital world is no different, and so we've trawled the Internet looking for some of the best digital deals across all of the major platforms.

Nintendo

Unfortunately for Switch players (and 3DS and Wii U owners to an extent), the range of discounts available is pretty meagre compared to what everyone else is going to enjoy today. You can find some discounts via the American eShop, and over here a handful of Switch games have been discounted (such as 25% off both The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ and Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, there's 30% off NBA 2K18, and 20% off the Gold Edition of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle). The price reductions are more plentiful if you're looking for something for your 3DS or Wii U. Otherwise you're going to have content yourselves with codes that'll bag you a Mario hat or a Zelda calendar. Head here to see what's on offer.

PlayStation

Sony, on the other hand, has put on quite a spread of discounts across a huge range of titles and content packs. Games on all four of their chief platforms (PS4, PSVR, PS3, Vita) have been reduced in price, including some notable titles such as Gran Turismo Sport (50% off), FIFA 18 (40% off), Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (50% off), Grand Theft Auto V (60% off), Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (50% off), Persona 5 (50% off), and you can get 50% off Titanfall 2 and the Revolution edition of Battlefield 1. Head this way to take a closer look at the games on offer.

Xbox One

It's a similar story on Xbox One, with many of the third-party titles enjoying the same discounts as on PS4. The list of offers is substantial, but some of the highlights include The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (60% off), Bioshock: The Collection (67% off), Xcom 2 (67% off), Quantum Break (50% off), Assassin's Creed Origins (30% off), Forza Motorsport 7 (20% off), Gears of War 4 (50% off), Dirt 4 (50% off), Overwatch (50% off), and Halo Wars 2 (50% off). Just like PlayStation, there a plenty more discounted games beyond those mentioned here, so head on over and see for yourself what's on offer.

PC

The discounts on PC are too numerous and varied to list here, but suffice to say if you're after a cheap game or two then you're going to find something that tickles your fancy. Naturally, there's a big sale over on Steam, and that's running until the 28th so you've time to ponder what you want (one thing worth highlighting, though, is the Steam Link, which you can pick up for a pittance).

Other online stores offering tempting discounts include GOG.com, the Humble Store, Green Man Gaming, Gamersgate, and you can probably find one or two discounts if you head over to your local branch of Amazon. Finally, if you can't get down to your local retailer today, then you can always head online, with sites like Game offering a bunch of digital discounts.

Let us know if you grab a metaphorical steal in the comments below, and happy bargain hunting.
