Justice League finally hit theaters worldwide this week, and while Batman actor Ben Affleck must have received a hefty paycheck for his services as the caped crusader, there was also a bill to pay at the end of it all too.
Recently Affleck appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote the film, and here he shared a fun story from the set. Apparently, Affleck took home one of the batarangs that his character uses in the film, and the studio billed him for it.
"You can't exactly have been stealing if you got billed for it, which is what happened to me. Turns out batarangs aren't cheap!"
It's unknown how much the prop cost Affleck, but it goes to show that crime doesn't pay, even if you're filling the shoes of the dark knight himself. Would you have done the same in his shoes though?
