A new report by Reuters has revealed that the maker of Humvee military vehicles has filed a lawsuit against Activision Blizzard, accusing the company of making billions of dollars in revenue from using its trademarks in the Call of Duty series without their permission.

AM General LLC claims that Activision has featured the marks prominently in the shooter series, as well as licensing related content in toys and books. Activision spokesperson Mary Osako, however, has said that the company doesn't discuss litigation.

Humvee's maker adds that the Call of Duty's success as a series comes "only at the expense of AM General and consumers who are deceived into believing that AM General licenses the games or is somehow connected with or involved in the creation of the games."
