Gift cards are a great way to give someone a gift without risking getting them something they won't like, and now Steam has announced that you can send digital gift cards via their platform now too.
The cards come in values of £4, £10, £25, £50, and £100, and doesn't replace the existing system where you can just buy games for your friends anyway. The gift card even converts into your friend's currency if they live in a different country too.
As reported by VG247, it isn't the simplest system ever, as you can't just find them by typing them into the search bar, and you can only send them to those on your friends list, but it's a welcome addition nonetheless.
