Twitch has announced that from now until November 3 users can unlock Halloween Crates containing one of six zombie emotes for the platform, and if you collect all six you unlock Zombie Lord Kappa, which is then yours forever.
These zombie emotes can then be used in the chat, pulse, whispers, and feeds. To unlock these crates you have to "Cheer with at least 250 Bits in a single Cheer", and you can buy Bits from Twitch directly, with a deal available for first-time buyers too.
In the Q&A Twitch clarified that "you'll only earn 1 Halloween Crate for the single cheer. If you show your support by performing a dark incantation cheer using 5,000 Bits or more in a single Cheer, you also permanently unlock Zombie Lord Kappa outright!"
