Over the weekend, an image seemingly revealing the first batch of backwards compatible Xbox games for the Xbox One made its way across the internet, making fans of those original Xbox games very happy, and now there's even more to be happy about.
Ryan McCaffrey from IGN has got the official word from Microsoft that the list is real, and that the games will be available on Xbox One starting today. This means that we'll get to play the following games in 1080p, with shorter loading times and smoother or improved frame-rates:
Black
BloodRayne 2
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
Dead to Rights
Fuzion Frenzy
Grabbed by the Ghoulies
Ninja Gaiden Black
The King of Fighters Neowave
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Psychonauts
Red Faction 2
Sid Meier's Pirates!
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
All of these can be played on your Xbox One if you own them physically or digitally, and can also be bought separately for $9.99 USD if you don't own them already. A UK price wasn't given, but $9.99 equates to around £7.58, so perhaps around that mark.
Which ones are you definitely playing on your Xbox One tomorrow?
