Last week, Nintendo Switch consoles around the world updated to the new 4.0.0 version. This allowed users to capture up to 30 seconds of gameplay and transfer system data and save-games to another console, among other new features announced by the company.

There are other features that came secretly, though, as have just come to light. Firstly, the activity log is a little bit more accurate when talking about short gaming sessions, as you can now see if your friends have been playing for two or four hours, for example, and not just "less than 5 hours". Secondly, the inner video player is also improved, as Nintendo added a new option to accelerate to 1.25x, 1.5x, or 2.0x, or slow the speed to .75x, while also changing the sound.

But the most important and useful hidden feature is that the Switch now supports USB headsets. Just plug yours in the dock and check if the model is compatible with the console. Official PlayStation kits are good, as are many others tested by people on Reddit.

Have you noticed any of these hidden features?
