AMD has filed against former employees they accuse of stealing thousands of confidential documents. The accused men, Robert Feldstein, Manoo Desai, Nicholas Kociuk, and Richard Hagen, all left AMD to work for Nvidia.
Feldstein was a particularly big catch for Nvidia, as he was instrumental in securing AMD's recent contracts with Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.
The report from Extremetech.com also states that the defendants have been accused of transferring over 150,000 documents shortly after running Google searches for advice on moving and copying large numbers of files. Pretty damning stuff.
The AMD complaint also states: "He [Feldstein] transferred sensitive AMD documents, and in the next six months, the three defendants either did the same thing, violated ‘no-solicitation of employees' promises, or both - all obvious violations of common law, statute, and/or contracts with AMD."
Nvidia have not been named in any of the complaints.
