All Things Digital reports that the deal that saw Viacom selling game developer Harmonix to Columbus Nova saw a mere $49.95 changing hands. According to the post the deal was structured in a way that saw Viacom netting tax benefits of around $150 million and Columbus Nova inheriting old stocks of Rock Band 3 and instruments that are sitting on warehouse shelves as well as expensive music licenses.
