Recent sales figures for the Nintendo Switch have emerged via Business Wire, and according to the data, provided by market research specialists from NPD Group, the Nintendo Switch has already sold two million units in the US and is in first place on this month's sales charts (actually it's the third time in a row).

Even more surprising is Nintendo's overall console performance during the last four weeks, as the release of the SNES: Classic Mini Edition pushed Nintendo's total console sales (combining the 3DS handheld family and the Switch) to two-thirds of last month's total console purchases in the United States. Software charts show games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle as last month's best-selling games, which will probably have had an impact on things.

Are you surprised by these figures?
