As you may have heard, earlier this week EA shut down Visceral Games, and now God of War director Cory Barlog has expressed his support for linear games following the studio's closure.
"I love linear single player games. Saddens me when the word linear is considered a bad thing. You can have agency in a linear story game," he posted. Former character artist at Visceral, Brendon Bengtson, tweeted his agreement, to which Barlog said: "Your studio made amazing games that helped to elevate what we do. Thank you."
Do you think linear single-player games should be given more of a chance in the current market?
